An Invitation to BUILD THE ANGLICAN CHURCH
The Anglican Heritage Foundation (AHF) was created to provide a new means and resource to raise the necessary revenues to build the Anglican Church, by taking the financial burden off a relatively small group of Anglicans and placing it squarely on the shoulders of ALL Anglicans. For we are ALL called to proclaim and fulfill The Great Commission of Jesus Christ. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Jesus calls all His followers to act and share the Good News of salvation throughout the world, and it is our responsibility as faithful Christians to get involved in building the Church.
The Foundation is currently seeking interested Anglicans, home groups, and congregations to participate in an innovative program to build the Church. It may be in the planting of new Church Mission, building new Church facilities, restoration of our current buildings, or educational programs for our Laity and Clergy. There are no costs involved for participants, the AHF is doing this as part of their ministry to bring people together to enable them to do great things. The Church has raised necessary revenues in individual parishes for hundreds of years with great success, but now with the advancement of communication technology on the World Wide Internet we can extend our horizons.
Our initiative is modeled after the highly successful Case Foundation. CEO Jean Case, who founded the Case Foundation with her husband, Steve, founder of America Online, recently was quoted in a N. Y. Times article saying “Philanthropy should’t be defined as a bunch of rich people writing big checks, small amounts of money given by large numbers of individuals can be combined to do great things.”
This goodwill giving to fellow man can be applied to the church on a National level. This initiative provides all Anglicans with the opportunity to participate in a program created to build the Church. Contact us today if you are interested in learning more about participating in this new initiative.
Faithfully,
Bradley R. Hutt, Vice President and Chair
